WELCOME!
We extend a very hearty and sincere welcome to all of our visitors. It is an honor to have you with us today and you are welcome every time our doors are open. Please stay a few minutes after worship so that we can get to know you.
We exist to serve God and you (Matthew 22:37-39). Please let us know if there are ways we might be of spiritual service to you all. Simply contact any member and they will help you. We would rejoice to share this life and heaven with you.
UPCOMING EVENTS
FIRST SUNDAY FELLOWSHIP is this morning after church.  Please stay and enjoy fellowhip with us. Hostesses are Thelma, Michelle, Angel, and Wanda.
MENS BUSINESS MEETING will be held July 13th at 4:30 pm.  If you have any items to be discussed, please give them to Roy Phillips before that date.
SINGING at the nursing home will be July 13th at 2:30 p.m. Come out and join us in singing praises to God and brightening the resident's day.
VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL July 14-18, Theme:"Walking in SON Light" Begin now to clear your schedule for this week.

Vickie Cantrell had gall bladder surgery and is recovering at home.
Verba Cruise all efforts to induce a seizure for Verba's tests have failed and she was released today.  They must schedule an appointment in another two weeks in St. Louis to try again.
Roy Phillips' had a biopsy on the spots on his chest.  They were unable to accomplish the procedure with a scope so had to make a small incision.  The results should be in the first part of this week.
Kay Lewis is at home recovering from hip replacement surgery.
Diana Greer is improving dailey.
Jan McGrath is in skilled nursing and shows some improvement..
John McClure, father of Mona Page, is being moved to a nursing home.
Let's remember to pray for all of the above. Don't underestimate the power of prayer.
FAIR HAVEN CHILDRENS HOME    Our new items for the children's home are aluminim foil, zip lock bags, trash bags, and Kleenex.  Let's try to fill our container before the next pick up date.
HELP NEEDED!!!! We are in need of volunteers to help us make our BBS special for the children. We need someone who will go to the classrooms and take pictures. We need a helper to help Thelma serve refreshments.  We need someone to coordinate our Open House on Friday night.  Also, if you would like to be a helper in a classroom, please see Linda Blazer.  Last, but not least, we awill need lots of cookies to serve the children.  Please see Thelma regarding this.  Thank you.
There are flyers in the foyer regarding Vacation Bible School to hand out to freinds and neighbors.  At the bottom is an enrollment sheet. Please take some and try to pre-enroll if possible.
