WELCOME!
We extend a very hearty and sincere welcome to all of our visitors. It is an honor to have you with us today and you are welcome every time our doors are open. Please stay a few minutes after worship so that we can get to know you.
We exist to serve God and you (Matthew 22:37-39). Please let us know if there are ways we might be of spiritual service to you all. Simply contact any member and they will help you. We would rejoice to share this life and heaven with you.
UPCOMING EVENTS
June 1 -  FIRST OF THE MONTH FELLOWSHIP  today, June 1 after evening services.  Hostesses will be Kay Lewis, Ruth McMasters, Mona Page, and Sherrie Clarke. 
June 8- GRADUATION for Bible Institute of Missouri Students will be held on  at Kansas Expressway church of Christ  at 2:30 pm. 
June 8- AREA YOUTH NIGHT at Branson church of Christ. Speaker, Jeff Fisher, "Planning Ahead" 6 pm with meal to follow. 
June 28- SINGING at the Clarke's house from 6:00-8:00pm.  Bring finger foods. 
VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL - a tentative date of July 14-18 has been set for VBS.  Please begin now to clear your schedule for this week.  Anyone wanting to help in VBS, see Linda Blazer.

Verba Cruise is will to St. Louis the 13th of June for an MRI and back to St. Louis on July 1 to enter the hospital for 3-5 days for more testing.
Jan McGrath is back at her brothers's house.
Doni Frazier is home from the hospital and improving daily.
Becky Hyder has some hernated discs which they will try to treat with physical therapy.
Roy Phillips will have a scan in a  week and then radiation if everything looks alright.
Beth Foster, sister of Scot Greer, has one more weeks of chemo therapy and then will have radiation for six weeks for her cancer.
Kay Lewis is scheduled to have hip replacement surgery on June 23.
Cathy Thompson is to have an MRI for the doctors to determine a course of action.
Madge Richardson had shots in her knee last week and seems to be improving.
Ben Thompson, son of Ron and Cathy, broke his leg playing ball and had surgery on it last week.  He is recovering at home.
Let's remember to pray for all of the above. Don't underestimate the power of prayer.

FAIR HAVEN CHILDRENS HOME  Lets continue to bring items for the children's home. This time items on the list are paper products such as  toilet paper, paper towels, paper plates, napkins, etc. The next pick up will be June 19th. Change cans for the van for the children's home must be here today, June 1st otherwise they can be taken to the Thrift Store..
THANK YOU-- The 2 year olds Nursery Class taught by Verba Cruise has been collecting money for a couple of years and was able to donate $81.50 for Bibles for Peru. 
PERU FUNDS NEEDED There are still funds needed for the trip to Peru.  If anyone can help in this area, please see Terry McMasters or Bob Lewis.  They will be leaving for Peru the early part of June.
Copies of the Gospel Advocate are available in the foyer.  One copy per family. Pick one up today.
