WELCOME!
We extend a very hearty and sincere welcome to all of our visitors. It is an honor to have you with us today and you are welcome every time our doors are open. Please stay a few minutes after worship so that we can get to know you.
We exist to serve God and you (Matthew 22:37-39). Please let us know if there are ways we might be of spiritual service to you all. Simply contact any member and they will help you. We would rejoice to share this life and heaven with you.

May 18-21  GOSPEL MEETING  Conway Church of Christ , with John Daniel speaking at 7 pm each evening.
May 24- Kansas Expressway church of Christ is hosting Youth Calsses on Saturday, May 24.  It begins at 9:00 and lasts until 3:00pm. Lunch is provided.  Please see Johnnie Sanders as he must send in a number of how many will be attending.  There are several classes to choose from.
MEMORIAL DAY PICNIC at Hailey and Ellen Haddock's .  Bring picnic food, lawn chairs, fishing equipment and yard games.  Begins at 3:00-? . Supper about 5:00 pm.


June 8- GRADUATION for Bible Institute of Missouri Students will be held on  at Kansas Expressway church of Christ  at 2:30 pm.
June 8- AREA YOUTH NIGHT at Branson church of Christ. Speaker, Jeff Fisher, "Planning Ahead" 6 pm with meal to follow.
SINGING at the Clarke's house in June.  Date not sey yet.  Bring finger foods.
VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL -
a tentative date of July 14-18 has been set for VBS.  Please begin now to clear your schedule for this week.  Anyone wanting to help in VBS, see Linda Blazer.

Verba Cruise is will to St. Louis in June to complete here tests.
Jan McGrath is back at her brothers's house.
George Strickland is now home from the hospital.
Doni Frazier has had knee replacement surgery and is now home from the hospital..
Becky Hyder has some hernated discs and will decide on her treatment soon.
Beth Foster, sister of Scot Greer, has two more weeks of chemo therapy and then will have radiation for six weeks for her cancer.
Roy Phillips Roy began his 4th round of chemo in the hospital but has retained water. They are going to run tests on his kidneys before he receives his last bag of chemo.
Kay Lewis is scheduled to have hip replacement surgery on June 23.
Please keep Madge Richardson in your prayers.
Let's remember to pray for all of the above. Don't underestimate the power of prayer.

SINGING--at the nursing home will not be held this month.
FAIR HAVEN CHILDRENS HOME  Lets continue to bring items for the children's home. This time items on the list are paper products such as  toilet paper, paper towels, paper plates, napkins, etc. The next pick up will be June 19th.

MENS BUSINESS MEETING will be next Sunday May 18th at 4:30.  If you have anything to be discussed please give your items to one of the men. 
CONGRATULATIONS to Bob and Kay Lewis who are now great grandparents.  Baby Lila May was born Wednesday. She weighted 5 lbs. and 4 oz. and was 19 inches long. Lila May is in ICU at this time having some difficulty with her white cell count.  They have her on antibiotics.  She is the daughter of Jacob Herman and Tina Peek.
PERU FUNDS NEEDED There are still funds needed for the trip to Peru.  If anyone can help in this area, please see Terry McMasters or Bob Lewis.  They will be leaving for Peru the early part of June.
